Rhyno

Here are some technical facts and information about the ship designed and built in 2015/ 2016 in Poland in catamaran construction is made of seawater resistant aluminum, christened “Rhyno” (registration number BS 66).

Safety & Technology.

• Highest safety due to catamaran design with 8 watertight welded chambers per float.
• Structure: plastic sandwich with aluminum subframe.
• First vessel of this category in Basel with two independent propulsion systems – in case of failure of one system RHYNO still remains maneuverable and brings you safely to your destination.
• 2 Yamaha 60 hp four-cylinder engines with special gearboxes for more torque, each engine has its own 100 liter tank and power supply.
• Diesel hot air heating 5,5 KW, with outlets in the passenger compartment, at the bar and in the toilet room.
• Extensive navigation equipment such as radar, GPS, Rhine radio, depth sounder etc.

• Only ship of this category with a toilet room. Electric onboard toilet with lavabo; heated in winter.
• The only ship in this category with a sun deck on the roof. The sundeck for 10 persons is equipped with cushions, table, 2 sunbeds, awning and loudspeakers
